  1. I used to work a produce department, it's hard to not make a joke by accident when talking about it.

    1. Some of best jokes have come from my best accidents.

  2. I have thyme in my spice drawer, but I rarely use it. Maybe it's because I rarely cook.

    Love,

    1. I enjoy cooking but rarely have a recipe that calls for thyme.

  3. at least it didn't all fall into the dish... don't you just hate it when the lid of a spice bottle falls into the dish you're cooking?

    1. Yes I do! Did that with cocoa one time. I add a tiny bit to my spaghetti sauce to darken the color - makes it look richer. But if you add a teaspoon - it's way too much. A capful made it inedible. Yuck!

    2. Cocoa in spaghetti? You Americans are so crazy :) I mean salty pretzels in cookies, bacon in chocolate... is there and end to your madness :))
I once spilled a whole bottle of curry into the frying pan with veggies, but my brother said it was unusually tasty :) I kept my mouth shut....

    3. No one I've ever met uses cocoa in spaghetti. I caught my Mom sneaking it into the sauce or I would have never known. She called it her secret ingredient. It did not add any flavor just color.
Bacon in chocolate - where do I get this? Oh why am I always the last American to know this shit!?
A whole bottle of curry? Omg... my uncle used to sprinkle it on vanilla ice cream. Yipes.
