I don't know, but I'll check Colin's site. I saw and photographed something similar in the early 2000's. Then it was called a 'solar halo.' but mine is photo'ed from the ground. Colin's appears to have been taken from a helicopter of such vehicle. I'll post it soon. They really are amazing and scary, the first time you see them.
Haven't seen one since then, which I think is even stranger.
