Celebrating Leonard Nimoy

'an artful blogger' would like to celebrate the life of Leonard Nimoy, with a few pictures, and a spoofy video. Hopefully the readers find this to be humorous, and yet tastefully accomplished, (grin).

Producer, director, avid researcher... remembered for his splendid narration of the series...  "In Search of "... with 148 episodes.

Actor, and beloved character... "Star Trek," television program, and films. Nimoy also appeared in other television programs, and films.

"Live Long and Prosper"

  1. Ha ha, loved that video! And "Vulcan for dumbass." I think Mr Spock would approve of your tribute. RIP Leonard Nimoy.

  2. The video was just silly!
Sad day for everyone. Part of my inner geek died when I heard the news.

    1. Alex, I hope the video didn't offend you.
I think Nimoy would want to step up - you are the current generation! Next forget that. (smile)

    1. I agree. I loved his series, "In Search of..." Watched an old last night on the Mayans, made 34 years ago. He was talking about December 2012 at the time... and predictions scientist said the Mayans made. But it turned out to be something else they referred to. Thank you, Pat.

  6. I must admit I haven't watched him much, since the old STAR TREK was way before my time, but I see he had so many fans!

    1. Dez, I loved Nimoy's "In search of..." program, more than anything. He wasn't the Spock character, but a man who seemed to genuinely be concerned about people and the planet. That's always nice :)
